   1. “What are the challenges of Flexi Staffing Industry”

    "Looking at current dynamics and historical performance, there is no doubt that staffing industry in India is to grow quite a bit in years to come. There is a lot to look forward to in Staffing landscape however there are challenges as well, for example increased regulation at National and State level will be a big challenge. Increase in regulations is bound to happen as more companies will need help finding workers, our industry will grow and the bigger we get the more regulated we will be. 

    Other challenge our industry will face includes generating value for clients with thin margins. Margins are going to continue to be a challenge, customer service has to be there and it’s going to be an uphill task for us to maintain margins in long term.

One of the challenges staffing company clients face is, who owns staffing services? Many client companies juggle between HR / Business and Procurement for owning the staffing services. Some companies use procurement to select suppliers but leave it to HR to manage and in some companies HR selects suppliers but leave it to Business to manage. Without a clearly defined map for accountability, contractors and staffing companies will struggle to gain confidence of clients. 

Every industry while moving from small to midsize to big and from unorganised to organized has gone through uncertainties and challenges and nothing different will happen with Staffing industry. However in the big picture I see staffing industry creating an organized, dynamic, flexible and technological ecosystem.“
